- Architrave
Finishing frames around the door. It covers the union of the jamb with the wall on the entire edge of the door.
- Adjustable door stop
Elements that are applied directly on the track to avoid to slam the door either in opening or closing. The door stopper within the counterframe is already mounted and is adjustable according to the requirements, thanks to the extractable track. The door stopper in closing but instead fixed after the assembly of the door.

Network with furrowed and etched wire to improve adhesion of the plaster.
-
h
- Horizontal reinforcing bars
Supports of a counterframe (plaster version) that are attached to the plaster door net which gives the counterframe higher strength and stiffness and counteract the tensions generated by the plaster maturation. They are designed in such a way that gaps of thickness do not remain in the plaster distribution.

i
- Infill sheet (ashlared)
Sheet with ashlar processing which increases rigidity and strength of the counterframe. The ashlared infill sheet ECLISSE measures 0.7 mm of thickness.
- Internal pocket
Sliding seat of the door. To allow the sliding, the thickness of the door must be less than the sliding seat of 12/14 mm.
-
j
- Jamb
Wooden frame of the door finish. It covers the edges of the counterframes, the upper crosspiece and the stop jamb.
-
l
- Lacquered (wooden doors)
Boards generally in MDF (wooden pulp better than chipboard) processed to make them smooth to the touch and then painted with a glossy or matt lacquer.
- Laminate (wooden doors)
Coating created with a molded plastic foil recalling the wood in appearance. The underlying structure is usually made of chipboard.
-
m
- Motorised unit
Accessory for interiors and exteriors that allows the automatic opening and closing of the door.
- Max door weight
Maximum weight bearable by the sliding carriages. For ECLISSE, The standard load capacity is 100 kg, on request reaches up to 150 kg (interior solutions). In the case of blinds or railings, it is 150 kg.
- Milling
Particular processing to be carried out on a wooden door panel.
-
n
- Nipper
Type of support for all glass door. It is a fixing system that is applied directly on the glass. Suitable for door panels in glass, weight up to 100 kg, thickness 8 or 10 mm.
-
o
- Overall dimension
This is the hole that you have to leave to place a counterframe properly (measurements in height and width). It is given by the sum of the passage of light measures, dimensions of the inner casing to the wall and dimensions.
- OSB
Wood material made with synthetic resins and with thin veneers.
- Overboarding plaster-holding mesh
Tightly knit knurled net (50x25 mm) situated halfway between the plate and the wire of the plaster that allows the plaster to cling better. The plaster-holding mesh Eclisse is overboarding to avoid the application of additional nets.
- Opening direction
Direction that identifies from which side the door is concealed in the wall (right or left).
- Oversized
Non-standard measures of counterframes.
-
p
- Plaster
It is one layer of protective coating of the walls. It, besides the protective function, assumes sometimes an aesthetic function.
- Protruding close (plaster mesh)
That comes out and exceeds the boundary of the chest of the plaster counterframe. Thus it avoids the formation of cracks and splittings due to the connection between two completely different materials (sheet and perforated).
- Plasterboard
Plasterboard is a building material. It is currently one of the most widely used lightweight construction materials because of its speed of application and its special thermal and acoustic qualities. It is sold in 1200x2000mm panels although you can find it in different sizes. The thickness used for the finished wall measurements with a 12.5mm unique plate.
- Polystyrene joint
Component on the upper crosspiece of the subframe for plaster which helps to absorb possible structural movements.
-
r
- Rallenty Soft
Accessory for interiors. It allows the door to slow down the travel of the door panel in closing until it closes again softly.
- Radius (ECLISSE Circular)
Extent determined by the hypothetical circle that forms the counterframe up to the wheelbase of the counterframe. At a smaller radius corresponds to greater wing curvature.
-
s
- Siderale
The counterframe studied for extra-large apertures which allows the insertion of a concealed sliding system even in the presence of a light passage which can reach up to 1500 mm in width and 2900 mm in height for each leaf (finished wall thickness 125/150 mm).
- Stud wall installation kit
Unassembled version of a counterframe. Allows the optimization of loads thanks to limited dimensions corresponding to 140 x 2310 x 110 mm. It also allows the choice of the thickness in the construction site to use based on the door chosen (sp.100 / Sp. 125).
- Slide runners
Elements that allow the door panel to slide inside the track. The sliding carriages with ball bearings ensure lasting, smooth and silent sliding. They may have capacity of 100 kg or 150 kg.
- Standard sizes
Size (width and height) specified in the catalogue.
- Spacer
Sheet metal profile which serves to maintain properly spaced horizontal door jamb.
- Stop jamb
Vertical element of the counterframe that facilitates the implementation of the jambs.
- Self-centring door guide
plastic element which serves to slide the door perpendicularly to the track. The door guide slides on the milling that is standard on the retractable sliding doors. It is applied directly to the counterframe and without drilling the floor, allowing you to center the guide in a few moments, avoiding unnecessary loss of time in the measurements and in the floor perforations.
- Snap-together assembly
Ability to mount the subframe directly on site with the desired thickness (100 mm or 125 mm finished wall thickness).
- Secutity profile
Extruded aluminum profile to apply in the milling of the sliding doors. Preserves the sliding seat from possible swelling caused by the absorption of moisture.

-
t
- Toughened glass/tempered glass
Glass subjected to a machining process said quenching, which involves heating the material at 500-700 °C and the subsequent rapid cooling. It confers a greater resistance in the sheet. In the event of impact the glass shatters into tiny pieces.
- Tanganika
